Services - Well Development and Pump Testing

Tri-County Drilling, Inc. offers a wide array of well development, pump testing, aquifer characterization testing, well purge and sampling, and permanent pump system installation services. Our capabilities include pump rates from less than 1 gpm to 2000 gpm. Well development methods include surge block, bailing, direct air lift, dual tube reverse circulation air lift with single or dual swab, jetting, rawhide, pumping, well treatments with NSF approved additives, and disenfection. Pump testing services include step draw down, constant rate, slug, water quality testing, and packer testing.

Our in-house equipment includes the following:

• Smeal 5T Well Development Rig
• Totalizing flow meters ranging from 1/2 gpm to 1200 gpm
• Redflo II purge and sample pump for 2" and 4" wells
• Grundfos 3" jet sub and 4" vari-speed for development, purge, and sampling
• Test pumps for 4" and larger wells with pumping rates from 3 gpm to 300 gpm
• Wireline straddle packer system for packer testing with flow rates from 2 gpm to 300 gpm and pressures up to 350 psi
• Containment tanks from 500 gal to 4000 gal, larger sizes up to 20,000 gal available on special notice
• Discharge manifolds and pipelines capable of handling up to 1200 gpm flow rates
• Bailers from 1" to 6" diameter and in lengths up to 20'
• Water level meters up to 500'
• pH, conductivity, and temperature meter
• Retrieval tools
• Electrical wiring, underground conduit installation, pump controller and pressure tank setup and installations
• Transducers for continuous water level data recording
